Foundation’s Annual Event – Moved to SPRING 2018

In light of weather-related crises around the country and local scheduling conflicts, the Library Foundation has decided to POSTPONE our annual fundraiser until early Spring 2018.  We will announce the new date later this Fall and look forward to celebrating with everyone on the new terrace!

All readers are WANTED to join our posse as we celebrate the genre of all things Country and Western.  Guests will dine on Southern BBQ with a pig pickin’ and all the fixings (vegetarian/vegan options available). The libations will be cold and the band smokin’ hot.  Grab your sidekick and sashay on over to place your bids for some of the best silent and live auction items found in these parts.  Don’t let the posse ride without ya’… so get a wiggle on and fetch yer tickets today!

The CHPL Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support to enhance the capabilities, resources, and services of the Library.  Over 1,600 people visit our Library each day (more than 2x the state average!) and 1.3 million items are checked out each year.  Every year there is a greater demand for services and programs.

To keep up with such high demand, private funds must supplement public dollars.  CHPLF, a 501(c)(3) organization, secures private funding that ensures the high standards of excellence and best practices the Library provides that are available to our diverse community of avid readers and lifelong learners.  Your participation, through donations and attendance, help support the mission and work of the CHPL Foundation.
