The CHPL Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support to enhance the capabilities, resources, and services of the Library. Over 1,900 people visit our Library each day (more than 2x the state average!) and 1.3 million items are checked out each year. Every year there is a greater demand for services and programs.
To keep up with such high demand, private funds must supplement public dollars. CHPLF, a 501(c)(3) organization, secures private funding that ensures the high standards of excellence and best practices the Library provides that are available to our diverse community of avid readers and lifelong learners. Your participation, through donations and attendance, help make this possible.
